Crosshead Assembly
- MM crossheads are manufactured from high quality, cast steel and the guides are manufactured from a quality manganese bronze normally used in bearings. This combination of materials provides a low friction interface and generates little heat.
Pinionshaft Assembly
- Pinionshaft is made of forged alloy steel, a herringbone gear with medium hard tooth surface is machined.
- For easy maintenance, single-row radial roller bearings with double-ribbed outer rings are used.
- The pinion shaft is extended at both ends so that a pulley or sprocket can be mounted at either end.
